    An African Giant Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun a.k.a Wizkid has definitely been blessed, and now he’s giving back with his latest track, “Jah Bless Me”. Developed while Wizkid was on holiday in Ghana and produced by none other than the talented KillBeatz, Wizkid is using this mellow conscious song to share his blessings with people living in the ghetto.

    Through this track, Wizkid asks for God’s blessing of his people but also acknowledges the need for authorities to step up and find a resolution to the violence that impacts far too many of the Nigeria communities. Wiz Kid may have become one of Nigeria’s fastest-rising entertainers but it’s clear that his heart remains firmly rooted in where it all began – with those who need it most.

    Wizkid has no doubt made waves internationally. His award-winning success and recognition are evident, what with his historic performance at Skyway Theatre Minneapolis, selling out the O2 Arena London as well as strutting down the runway of Dolce and Gabbana. It’s unsurprising then that the governor of Minnesota, United States of America, Mark Dayton had to declare October 6th of every year ‘Wizkid Day’ in honor of the great influence he has on the music industry.
