Bishop Dr. Matthew Akhaze Okpebholo, a billionaire who lives in Uromi, Edo State, has added to his already overwhelming philanthropy by spending over N100m to build an Emergency and Accident Unit at the Uromi Central Hospital.
The Bishop of Church of God Mission International Incorporated stated in an interview that one of the things that gives him joy and satisfaction is giving to the nation and his community. “You know, giving to the poor and making lives meaningful for them has been what I have been doing all my life, it has been my passion. That is why I established a foundation called Touching Lives-Saving Lives, and this building is just one of them”.
