    The 17-year-old American tennis player Coco Gauff from Florida, who is the youngest player ranked in the top 100 by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) won two within a couple of hours on Saturday, 22 May 2021. She currently has a career-high ranking of world No. 25 in singles, and No. 42 in doubles.

    Coco Gauff of Florida is having a moment. The 17-year-old phenom took home two titles in one day. Coco first defeated Wang Qiang, 6-1, 6-3 a breathtaking performance at the WTA Tour’s Emilia-Romagna Open in Parma, Italy. In her second match of the day, Coco alonside her doubles partner, Caty McNally, and also won the title, to defeat Darija Jurak and Andreja Klepac, 6-3, 6-2. Coco Gauff has had an amazing run this clay court season and her hard work is paying off! We’ll be cheering her on in the finals!
    It was a stunning display of dominance from Gauff, who is quickly establishing herself as one of the best players in the world. With her recent successes, Gauff is sure to continue to make a name for herself in the tennis world. She said “Two titles in one day — not bad. “I feel like in Linz I was really nervous closing the match, and I hadn’t been in that moment before,” She gave thanks to her father, the coach, and the rest of her team during an interview with The New York Times
    Gauff’s tennis idols are Serena and Venus Williams. “Serena Williams has always been my idol…and Venus,” she has said. “They are the reason why I wanted to pick up a tennis racquet. Gauff won her first WTA singles title at the 2019 Linz Open at the age of 15, making her the youngest singles title-holder on the WTA Tour since 2004. Two years on after her grand slam tournament, Gauff is winning tournaments and coming stronger.
