The first-ever female combat helicopter pilot in Nigeria Tolulope Arotile has recently been pronounced dead by the Nigerian Air Force on the 14th of July 2020 via their tweeter handle.
Flying officer Tolulope Arotile died in a road accident at NAF base in Kaduna at age 24 according to the Nigerian Air Force after suffering from a head injury following the accident.
During her short but impactful stay in the Service, late Arotile, contributed significantly to the efforts to rid the North Central States of armed bandits and other criminal elements by flying several combat missions under Operation GAMA AIKI in Minna, Niger State.
