Shanty Town is an upcoming crime thriller featuring veteran actor Chidi Mokeme which is directedby Dimeji Ajibola.
The movie features some of Nollywood’s finest actors including veteran stars Richard Mofe-Damijo, Ini Edo, Uche Jombo alongside Nse Ikpe-Etim, Shaffy Bello and BBNaija reality star, Mercy Eke.

Some of its crew members include award-winning cinematographer John Demps and ace screenwriters Xavier Ighorodje and Donald Tombia.
The title gives some insight into what to expect from the movie “Shanty Town” since the term is usually referred to as a settlement of improvised buildings or squatter that lacks adequate infrastructure, proper sanitation, electricity, safe water supply, and street drainage. Shanty Town may also be referred to as Ghetto but known by various names in different locations and countries.
The movie is currently in progress and the story plot is yet to be confirmed.
