P-Square was the name, the duo is an identical twin Peter Okoye and Paul Okoye . They both owned Square Records where they produced and released their songs.
The duo has been at the top of the Afro beat chain, in 2011, December to be precise, they signed a record deal with Konvict Muzik Label owned by Akon. In May of the following year, they signed a record distribution deal with Universal Music in South Africa.
The group reportedly disbanded on 25 September 2017 after series of hits and went solo as individual artists; Peter Okoye now performing as Mr.P while Paul Okoye performs as Rude boy or King Rudy.
As individual artiste, they are still a force to reckon with in their solo capacity, their latest tracks are enjoyed internationally with millions of views.
