Misconception around the term African Giant

The recent news trendy in the social circle relating to “African Giant” title may have surprised some fans. This report sheds light on the misconception around the term. Africa Giant interacted with some fans who needed clarity about the misconception about BurnaBoy and the term African Giant, while some assume the name is attributed to Burna Boy following the naming of his 2019 album African Giant, others who are up to date with us were already familiar with the term.

However, Africa Giant needs to make it clear that the term African Giant needs not be confusing. Since 2016 Africa Giant Ltd has often used the term to credit Africans in continental Africa and in the diaspora who have either achieved enormously or carried out an extraordinary feat. Such misconception around our Slogan African Giant may have arise from BurnaBoy’s African Giant album which was released recently in July 2019.

Since the term “African Giant” was coined by Africa Giant Ltd before 2019, it predates the African Giant album and therefore without a doubt, confirms the origin of the name. 

The term is also the core of this organization since we are with the notion that:

In the music industry for the past ten years, Davido and Wizkid are two names that have rocked Nigeria and Africa in music. Also, more intriguing, they made African music more famous internationally on a huge scale. Among the other great African acts, when it comes to these two acts, music lovers do not seem to be getting enough of their music and the energy they exude.

Both artists have gained lots of awards and nominations; as a matter of fact, Davido is currently the most awarded artist from Nigeria and Africa as a whole. When it comes to fans, these two musicians have the most fans and their fans are always at each other’s throats on social media.
