Jerry Isaac Mallo an Innovator Born in Jos, Nigeria created Carbon Fibre Sports Car With Speed Of 0-120 In 12 Seconds in 2019.
During an interview with Channels TV, Mallo: “In Europe, we learned that making the car is just half of the challenge, and selling it is the other half; Africa is usually the target place to sell these vehicles, so I feel there’s a big market for it here.”
African Giant Mallo stated that Africa has all the resources and raw materials used in manufacturing vehicles, but they are rarely made in Africa. Hence, that motivated him to venture into the manufacturing of cars – to fill that void.
He also noted that Nigeria is filled with hand-skilled individuals but unable to make use of their skills because they focus too much on theory rather than practical.
Hence he became challenged to do something “practically inclined”. He then decided to come up with a manufacturing process that majorly required the use of practical skills so as to bring this set of people together to create something worthwhile.
Bennie Purrie cars are made of fibers in order to save lives during auto crashes. So when they get hit, they break like bottles and the airbags protect the individuals.
