Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has shed light on a crucial aspect of the investigation into the death of singer Mohbad. It has been revealed that the CCTV cameras in Mohbad’s house were never connected, making it impossible to obtain any footage of the events leading up to his untimely demise. This revelation raises important questions about the circumstances surrounding his death and poses a significant setback for the investigation.
The absence of CCTV footage hinders the identification of potential suspects, understanding of what occurred during the injection administration, and determination of whether foul play was involved. In the absence of this crucial evidence, the task of identifying the culprits and establishing their involvement in the singer’s death becomes significantly more challenging.
The use of CCTV cameras has become crucial in crime investigations, and the lack of this technology, particularly in a high-profile case like Mohbad’s, presents a notable challenge. Without the aid of CCTV footage, authorities may have to heavily rely on eyewitness testimonies, forensic evidence, and the toxicology report to build a solid case against the suspects. The successful outcome of the investigation will greatly depend on the thoroughness of the investigative process.
Iyabo Ojo, on her Instagram account, disclosed the absence of proper CCTV equipment in Mohbad’s house, stating that “The cctv camera in Mohbad’s house was never fixed or connected, it has no BVR nor Hard disk.” The actress also added that “Mohbad’s wife has been interrogated 3 times to the best of my knowledge, 2 out of the 3times was the day you all saw Mohbad’s dad televised by the police in which they addressed the public on Mohbad’s case, later that same day Mohbad’s dad, mum and wife was sent to Panti for interrogation and to write their statement, another day Mohbad’s wife was interrogated was the 21st of September 2023….. reason why Tonto and Sentor Ishaku Abbo met her absences.”
