First-time Grammy nominee Burna Boy wins 2020 BET award. On the other hand, Rema was among the nominees for the Viewer’s Choice: Best New International Act and Sha Sha from Zimbabwe won the award while Beyonce and Wizkid won the Bet Her Award for “Brown Skin Girl”.

Burnaboy did remarkably well on his 2019 “African Giant” album and the song title captivated his audience which has allowed him to stand out and earned him a Grammy nomination. This is also a second-time win for Burnaboy who also won the BET award in 2019.
