The sad news was made public through a statement posted on social media which reported that Chadwick died at home in Los Angeles with his wife and family by his side.

Chadwick Boseman was diagnosed with Stage III cancer in 2016. In spite of his diagnosis, Boseman continued to work on films and projects that were important to him. His final film, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, is set to be released posthumously. Chadwick Boseman was an incredible actor and an inspiration to many. He will be deeply missed.
Boseman quickly became a global icon following his role as King T’Challa in the groundbreaking film “Black Panther,” which grossed $1.3 billion at the cinemas worldwide. He is been mourned by his family, friends and loved once and his memories will remain in the hearts of many.
