Bella’s production on the track is top-notch, and the addition of the saxophone gives the track a jazzy feel that pays homage to Kuti’s own sound. “New Born Fela” which was released on August 5, is a well-written and beautifully executed tribute to one of Africa’s most important musical figures, and Bella Shmurda is to be commended for honoring his legacy.
