The most followed Black African on Instagram with a remarkable 21.4 million followers is set to perform in London next year. Davido is one of the artists who brought Afrobeats to the global stage.
He recently stated in an interview with South African comedian and host of The Daily Show Trevor Noah that his musical success was due to the love that the diaspora has for his music.
“It started from Atlanta and New York, Nigerians telling the DJ in the club, “Yo I want to spend $50,000 today, but play Davido’s music when my bottles are coming out,” he said.
He also made the announcement of his upcoming 02 performance on twitter “Feels like just yesterday we made history. We’ve done it before… Now let’s do it again! Your boy back!
