Ice Cube and Ice-T’s ability to remain relevant in the hip hop industry has proven their skills as artists. They both started their careers in the early 90s and have managed to stay relevant throughout the years. The two hip hop legends collaborated on the 1992 film Trespass, originally titled The Looters. The film was written by Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis.They also collaborated on the song “Last Words” from Tupac’s 1993 album Strictly 4 My.
In recent years, Ice Cube and Ice-T’s have collaborated on the song “Sticka”, and more recently, on the song “Where Ya At” off the 1995 compilation Tupac & Notorious BIG One Million Strong which also features Snoop Dog, Dr Dre, Chuck D, Killah Priest, the Rza and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Both talent have been creating magic when hip hop is concern and that resonates with hip hop fans all over the world.

Ice-T is a successful rapper and actor who has appeared in both television and film. He began his career in the rap industry and quickly rose to prominence with his debut album, Rhyme Pays. His success in the rap industry led to acting opportunities, and he has since appeared in a number of television shows and movies. Ice-T is best known for his role as Detective Odafin Tutuola on the hit TV series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Recently, questions were being raised about his character as a detective being a hip hop rapper with explicit lyrics, for example one of his greatest hit was titled “Gangsta Rap”. He did recently address such concerns by pointing out that Tupac and Dr. Dre have also taken on roles as cops, therefore he maintains that acting as a detective does not necessarily patronise his beliefs and personality. In recent years, he also hosted a TV podcast called “Final Level” with longtime friend, manager and co-host Mick Benzo.
