An African Giant Nollywood star Ada Ameh has recently fallen. Everyone dies, but particularly painful when it happens to someone who put a lot of smiles on our faces. Good men must die, but death cannot kill their names.

The talented actress and comedian who has had a long-lasting career in Nollywood for over 2 decades lost her only child and daughter, Aladi Godgift, back in 2020 but appeared to have remained strong, particularly with the support of friends and family around her. However she perhaps gave a little hint in 2022 on how she was suffering mentally and felt she was dying slowly in a video she shared on Instagram a month before her death.

Regardless, she continued to share positive and happy videos until a shocking report surfaced that she died in Warri, Delta State around 11 pm on Sunday, 17th of July, Onayiga, at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital after collapsing.

She also revealed that she was sued over her inability to deliver on an acting role “Everything is going to be fine, I have an issue right now and it’s taking my life. I no go die, we will get over it. “I was given a job, I didn’t do the job because I had mental issues. Will people understand? They are slamming me with a bill, suing me. It’s okay.”

Ameh who is famously known for her role in Domitila, Iraq and Iran and TV series The Johnsons stated in the video that she was sued for a huge amount that seemed unaffordable for her. The court issues may have come at the worst time of the actress’s life.

Below are some videos she shared on her Instagram handle in the final weeks before her demise.
