It was electric at the London O2 Arena on the 5th of March as David Adeleke popularly known as Davido took the stage. The night was a reminder of his usual way of shutting down the arena.
Davido makes history as 02 Arena honors him by changing the arena name to The David02 for a night to commemorate the return of Davido to London 02 Arena.
Before the day, the O2 on its Twitter page had announced that the show was ready as the ticket was already sold out. The highly anticipated event show attracted fans from all over the world including celebrities from Nigeria who traveled all the way from Nigeria purposely for the show.
There was a new twist to African Giant Davido’s usual way of entertaining his fans, this time he added a piece of his latest career (Acting) when Afeare Isreal got on stage ringing a bell and dressed as a High Chief of the Benin Kingdom and pouring encomium on Davido and his fans.
As the show began, the stage was electric having the likes of Adekunle Gold, Teni, Patoranking, Mayokun, and many more, one would not have expected anything less. As OBO took the stage you could hear fans screaming.
The show attracted every creed, race, and colour, the Afrobeat icon was on stage to entertain them, and once again prove to the world that Afrobeat has come to stay.
