Kanye West is officially a billionaire but disputed at $3.3 billion. According to Forbes, Kanye West made efforts to convince them that he is a billionaire musician for years, but due to unsatisfactory evidence, he was always declined.

Despite now being officially classed as a billionaire, Kanye West was unhappy with Forbes and claimed they had undervalued him. He took to Twitter to voice his frustration, saying “It doesn’t line up with what Bloomberg said just last week,” in reference to a report which valued him at $3.3 billion.

“It’s not a billion,” West reportedly said in a text to the magazine. “It’s 3.3 billion since no one at Forbes knows how to count.”

He also accused the magazine of “disrespecting” him and not taking his “brand into consideration.” While it’s understandable that Kanye wants to be accurately valued, Forbes is an internationally respected publication, and its estimates are usually trusted to be accurate. In any case, it’s clear that Kanye West is now a billionaire, and there’s no denying his success.
