David Adefeso and his partner Tamar Braxton were at the Palace for royal blessings. It is amazing to have a growing number of African descent arriving the Motherland Africa.
Tamar Braxton is an American singer, actress, and TV personality who began her career in 1990 as a founding member of The Braxtons, an R&B singing group formed with her sisters.
During her 2019 visit to Lagos, Nigeria, she shared some interesting video clips of herself dancing so beautifully and with some African dance moves that it will be difficult to believe she is new to Africa.
Africa have rarely been considered by these African descents until recent years. The thought of going to Africa or how to adapt if they were to even visit not to mention live permanently. Black people who completely lost connection with their roots for hundreds of years following their ancestors’, who were caught up in the Slavery act and shipped across different borders.
Today, these Africans are beating all odds and proving the world wrong as several African Americans even more intriguing, high profiled celebrities are continuously making big moves to see and learn about Africa which is currently getting noticeable by the day.
They are also proving that despite the difference in culture the willingness to learn and work together can negate such barriers.
Especially, there is plenty to love and it is a new opportunity to taste the real Africa, to mention a few, the beautiful summer weather, the fresh organic food and fruits, the rich culture, the extraordinary hospitality of Africans towards visitors or foreigners, a time-old norm.
