    Dr. Olaoluwa Hallowed Oluwadara has certainly achieved something to be celebrated – he entered university for a bachelor’s degree at an amazing fifteen years of age and went on to receive two B.Sc degrees in mathematics and physics, two MSc awards in both mathematics and physics, a PhD in mathematics and was even the best graduating PhD student at University of Lagos, Akoka. Talk about impressive! Even more incredibly, Dr. Olaoluwa Hallowed Oluwadara won awards at University of Bangui for being the all-time best student from the department of mathematics as well as the best BSc student in physics during 2007 and 2008. Now Dr. Olaoluwa Hallowed Oluwadara is a research fellow of Mathematical Analysis and Optimisation Research Group and currently one of Africa’s youngest PhD holders at age 24 – an academic wonder without a doubt!

    Dr. Olabisi Adeyemi is no ordinary graduate – at a young age, she has already earned her PhD in botany from the University of Lagos at age 26 yr! Her impressive academic track record began early, as she was the best student in WAEC with seven distinctions while attending Girls’ Academy Lagos Island. After graduating with a first class degree in botany in 2006, eyes then followed her to the University of Lagos where Dr. Adeyemi completed her PhD in an impressive record time of 2012, even earning recognition as the best graduating PhD student at the same time! Dr. Adeyemi truly sets an example for students everywhere to aspire towards greatness and higher learning!

    Dr. Opeyemi Shodipe is no stranger to academic excellence. She achieved a remarkable feat at the young age of 19 when she bagged her bachelor’s degree from Babcock University, blowing everyone’s mind away and raising the bar for academic standards. After completing her compulsory NYSC programme, Dr. Opeyemi went on to purse a master’s degree at University of Ibadan, taking home a laudable honor as the best in her department; it was an impressive feat, but she wasn’t done yet! She returned triumphant to Babcock University to pursue and complete her doctorate in information science at 25 — what amazing achievements from Dr. Opeyemi.

    Dr. Romola Adeola is one talented young woman! This 26- year-old definitely knows how to make headlines and break records. Dr. Adeola achieved a Doctor of Laws degree (LLD) from the Centre for Human Rights at the University of Pretoria – making her not only the youngest person in 30 years to do so, but also the second youngest person ever since the faculty’s establishment 107 years ago. Not only did she do it in under 3 years, she blew minds away with her high standard by winning the Taslim Olawale Elias Prize for the Best Student in International Law while still an undergraduate at Lagos State University (LASU). Dr. Romola Adeola shows us that anything is possible when you set your mind to it!

    Dr. Salihu Dasuki Nakande is a 25 years old worthy adversary of Father Time! Born in the month of October 1987, Dr. Salihu began his educational endeavors early with a first-class degree in Information Technology from Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), North Cyprus at 21. Dr. Salihu didn’t stop there; he journeyed to Brunel University UK to attain both his Master’s and Doctorate degrees, becoming one of Nigeria’s youngest PhD holders and, believe it or not, potentially the youngest individual to hold such an accolade in all of northern Nigeria! Dr. Salihu certainly put the ‘all work no play’ proverb to shame as he is proof that hard work pays off in the end.

    Dr. Nkemehule Karl Omebere-Iyari is a shining example of what can be achieved when hard work meets potential. Despite only being 16 years old when he achieved 8 As in his WAEC result, Dr. Omebere-Iyari was already on the path to success and went on to become the best graduating student in chemical engineering from University of Nottingham, UK. With money no object as Dr. Omebere-Iyari was awarded an EU grant of €17,000 every year for three years it came as no surprise that Dr. Omebere-Iyari specialized in multi-phase flow with such speed and accuracy, achieving a PhD at a record pace at age 22! Dr. Omebere-Iyari has since gone on to not only impress esteemed establishments including Shell and Halliburton, but also achieved an MBA with distinction from INSEAD/Wharton, along with membership to various professional groups – confirming his place as one of Nigeria’s brightest stars.
